AIRSTAGE University Digital Campus

The Digital Campus offers a centralized location for all AIRSTAGE learning. Digital Campus offers self-paced learning resources, supplemental learning for instructor-led courses, expanded learning engagement opportunities (with content, instructors, and peers), and a running transcript of learning activities.

Some AIRSTAGE University courses are complimentary; others are tuition-based. See the AIRSTAGE University link on the ACCESS portal for details. Marketing Development Funds (MDF) are eligible towards tuition offset and custom-requested sales partner courses, subject to the guidelines of the MDF program.

Commercial J and V-Series Systems

AIRSTAGE University Digital Campus offers exceptional training on the design, installation, start-up, commissioning and troubleshooting of AIRSTAGE VRF, Heat Pump and Heat Recovery systems. Attendees learn a variety of practical installation “Must Know” tasks, along with the function and operation of AIRSTAGE equipment, with hands-on labs to identify components for system servicing. Hands-on labs compliment formal classroom instruction, designed to provide valuable information used on every AIRSTAGE installation and start up!

J-Series Training – (J-IVS, J-IV, and J-IIIL)


This course provides information on the rough-in, installation, piping, and wiring of V-series heat pump systems. It includes selecting the proper equipment location and using the “Design Simulator Report” to determine appropriate pipe sizing and routing. Also included is the application of separation tubes or pipe headers, communication wiring, address setting, and combining multiple outdoor units in one refrigerant circuit, followed by checking the system setup in preparation for system commissioning. (3 hours, virtual or in-person).

J-Series Training – (J-IVS, J-IV, and J-IIIL)

No cost, regional training

AIRSTAGE J-Series Training

This 2.5-hour training will equip the installer with the knowledge to rough in, install, pipe, and wire a Fujitsu AIRSTAGE J-Series system. It includes selecting proper equipment location and will teach how to read and utilize the “Design Simulator Report” for proper pipe size and routing. Key examples provide knowledge for use of separation tubes or pipe headers. Communication wiring, address setting and how to address indoor units is also included. The class will cover basic function codes after installation to qualify the systems set-up for startup.

V-Series Training – (VU-V and service for VII, VRII equipment)

VRF Service Training

This program offers essential information necessary to service AIRSTAGE VRF systems (three 4-hour virtual or in-person).

Sessions include:

  • Session 1 - VRF How It Works, What It Does, Symptom Diagnosis
  • Session 2 - System Components, Operation Communications Issues
  • Session 3 – Mechanical Troubleshooting and Diagnosis
VRF Technician Course

The AIRSTAGE VRF Technicians Training Course is designed to provide a Technician what they need to knowledgably progress through a complete Fujitsu AIRSTGE VRF installation, setup, startup, and to establish extended warranty. This incudes J-Series, V-Series and Heat recovery equipment. It also provides detailed information with hands-on labs on each day on system components, system operation, Service Tool Software, troubleshooting, and the Design Simulator software. (2 day facility training course including all of the above trainings with hands-on labs)
